This hand crochet octopus reaches an approximate height of 20cm's. The tentacles resembles an umbilical cord, which provides comfort for babies and even given to premier babies so that they have something to grasp, rather than medical equipment such as cannulas or nasogastric tubes, lessening the chance that they will accidently pull them off.
